Before I went full-time on my EdTech startup, I was working as a Full Stack Developer for over a decade and I noticed a surge of demand for serverless solutions. I was a contractor in Sydney for a good 5 years and I have been with different clients across a range of industries.
Both large and small companies are using AWS Lambda for various use cases; such as backend APIs, image processing, scheduled jobs, alert monitoring, test automation, and many other scenarios. Serverless applications are in demand due to their cost-efficiency and scalability. It's also heavily used in our humble startup!
